Terry has been a community dog training class instructor since 1968, specializing in pet dog classes using motivational exercises presented as games. She was the Coordinator of the People-Pet Partnership, College of Veterinary Medicine, Washington State University, from 1981 until 1994.

It's about a two and a half hour drive to Sequim. Depending on which route you take, part of that drive is a 30-minute ferry ride.

Kenmore planes are eight or twelve-seaters. Your destination is Port Angeles. It's a 25-minute flight over the beautiful Puget Sound and San Juan islands. If you tire of looking down at water during your flight, just look over at the magnificent Olympic National Park! Sequim is a 25-minute drive from Port Angeles. There are two rental car businesses in Port Angeles, Budget and Enterprise.
OLYMPIC BUS LINES This bus service has scheduled pickups at SeaTac Airport. See http://www.olympicbuslines.com, or phone 800-457-4492. They will deliver you to the bus stop in Sequim. There are taxis available for transportation to area hotels.

Rates average $140 a night for 2 to 4 people in a room.The Quality Inn is at the west end of Sequim, with several dining choices and shopping choices within walking distance. It is a drive of about 3 miles to the training center. Legacy has made arrangements for special rates at Quality Inn. Just mention "Legacy Dog People."

Sixty-seven campsites with firepits and picnic tables. Restrooms and showers available. No hookups for water or electric; drinkable water is available. No reservations, first come, first served. $16 per night for non-county residents. Trails along the bluff and through the woods. On the same road as the training center, about 2 miles away.
