Helen has been training most of her life—from the family horses under her grandfather's watchful eye (he was positive back in the day!), to training dance and performance, to training dogs and their owners since 2004. Her introduction to clicker training came in 2000, when she attended a seminar in Vernon, BC, with Sue Ailsby. Helen was hooked, and found Helix Fairweather in Oregon to train with. She's never looked back!
Helen loves helping families train their dogs and see improvement with positive methods. She also enjoys watching teams that trained with her in the rally and obedience rings. Papillon is Helen’s breed of choice. She breeds infrequently and shows occasionally in conformation, but her passion is teaching dogs to learn and teaching families how to teach their dog.
