Laura Moody is founder of the nonprofit MakeGr8Pets, whose mission is to assist, rescue, and foster. New to dog training but a long-time dog lover, Laura brings years of engineering experience to troubleshoot problems and find successful solutions. She is involved in the community to educate about force-free training methods, responsible breeding, and child safety around animals.
Laura has lived and worked in Washington for more than 30 years. Boeing engineer, yoga teacher, and volunteer at the Humane Society for Tacoma/Pierce County, she started her own rescue for coonhounds. A recent graduate of Karen Pryor Academy (KPA), Laura brings her passion and enthusiasm to her new vocation.
