Bio:

Nan Arthur, KPA CTP, CDBC, CPDT-KSA, has been involved in the animal behavior and training field for more than 23 years. She has a deeply held belief that her mission is to help pet parents and their animals understand each other and communicate clearly with one another using the science of behavior and training.

Nan was the first Adoption Counselor hired by FOCAS (Friends of County Animal Shelters) and worked with the San Diego Department of Animal Services in their largest shelter. The SDHS was awarded the designation “Best Place to Train a Dog” twice during Nan's tenure.
