Bio: 

When she was 9 years old, Renee Jetter started her career with dogs by volunteering for her local animal shelter in Boone, Iowa. By the young age of 12, Renee had received the “Pets Choice Award” for her kindness and love of animals, as well as her dedication and work ethic.

Renee and her husband Scott, own Canine Craze, a dog-training facility in Urbandale, IA. Renee has been training dogs professionally since her graduation from the Animal Behavior College in 2006. She has experience competing in Schutzhund and obedience, training service dogs, conducting group classes, teaching private lessons, and presenting seminars. Renee has designed, created, and implemented successful training programs for Obedience, Puppy, and Therapy, as well as Canine Craze’s popular Train & Play™ program.

Utilizing her passion for dogs and helping others, Renee is the Lead Trainer for Puppy Jake Foundation, a service-dog organization dedicated to raising, training, and placing professionally trained service dogs with wounded military veterans. She believes that continued education is an important part of her responsibility as a professional dog trainer, which is what inspired her to complete the Karen Pryor Academy (KPA) Dog Trainer Professional program.
