A graduate and Certified Training Partner (CTP) of the internationally recognized Karen Pryor Academy (KPA), Sarah is experienced in basic and advanced (competition) obedience/rally, behavior modification (fear, aggression, anxiety), puppy development, and service dog functions. Her primary focus is behavior consulting.
Sarah is currently a graduate student at Hunter College, working toward a master’s degree in Animal Behavior & Conservation. She is also a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant (CDBC) through the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants, and a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers.
Sarah has been volunteering at animal shelters for much of her life, and is passionate about providing practical, positive training to keep dogs in homes for life. She owns a 10 year old rescue pit bull, Buster, CD, CGC, RN, and a 2 year old rescue American Bulldog mix, Mozeez, CGC, RN.
